Why do I see a (not retained) message beside some of my logs?
Answer
When you see (not retained) next to your log lines in LogDNA, that means we’re not storing those logs in our database. It only shows up in live tail and won’t show up when you search back.
You may see the (not retained) message If you are on our Free plan or have an exclusion rule set up for those specific logs.
